Toni L. Haws

October 9, 1952 - February 28, 2022

Toni L. Haws, age 69, of Monroe, passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022 at ProMedica Regional Hospital in Monroe, Michigan. Born on October 9, 1952 in Shawnee, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Murl and Clara (Heckla) Haws. Toni was a graduate of Airport High School class of 1970. She enjoyed softball, bowling, shooting pool and golf through the years. She liked crossword puzzles and was an avid reader and crafter, enjoying the socializing at the shows. Toni was generous and loved giving to local charities and contributing to fundraisers at work. Toni worked many positions in her life before landing at Johnson Controls / Yangfeng as a Machine Operator until her retirement in 2019. Toni was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Kay Frances Haws. She is survived by her daughter Beth Haws; brothers, Murl David (Katherine) Haws and Tom (Phyllis) Haws and also by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Bobcean Funeral Home, Carleton Chapel on Thursday, March 3, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held at Bobcean Funeral Home on Friday, March 4, 2022 at 10:00 am. Rev. Ann Birchmeier of Willow United Methodist Church will officiate the service. Burial will be in LaSalle Township Cemetery, LaSalle, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Friends of Companion Animals 2532 N. Dixie Hwy Monroe, MI 48162.
