Salvatore "Sam" V. Fenech

Salvatore V. "Sam" Fenech, age 77, of Carleton, Michigan passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at his Home. Born on September 8, 1944 in Mosta, Malta, he was the son of John and Josephine (Galea) Fenech. He served in the U.S. Army from 1964-66 and was stationed in Germany. On February 24, 1978 he married Judy Furry in Las Vegas, NV. He was employed with Ford Motor Company as a Millwright for 41 years until retiring in 2004 to care for his wife. In previous years he could be found wrenching on cars, fishing, or deer hunting. Lately, he could be often found at his favorite restaurant, Farmer’s Cafe in Carleton, most likely with his “Peanut”, his granddaughter Adrienne. Sam was preceded in death by his wife, Judith Lynn Fenech, father, John Fenech, mother, Josephine Fenech, brother, Emmanuel Fenech, and brother, Joseph Fenech. He is survived by his son, Vincent J. (Tawni) Fenech, granddaughter, Adrienne Fenech, and close friend Kay Tomich. Visitation will be held at Bobcean Funeral Home, Flat Rock Chapel on Sunday, September 26, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held at Divine Grace Catholic Church on Monday, September 27, 2021 at 11:00 am. Burial will be in Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery, Huron Township, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Vietnam Veterans of America.
