Phil McCormick

Phil McCormick, age 75, of Carleton, passed away on Friday, May 6, 2022 in the comfort of his home. Born on February 7, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of Evrett and Annabelle (Jones) McCormick. On June 19, 1977 he married Patricia Long in Detroit, MI. He was employed with Chrysler Trenton Engine as a Machine Repair for 44 years until retiring in 2012. Phil enjoyed gardening and taking trips to the casino. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother Evrett McCormick. He is survived by his wife Patricia McCormick; mother Annabelle McCormick; son Herbert McKnight; sisters Leona McCormick and Lois Zonca; brothers Arnie (Rutah) McCormick and Glen McCormick. Visitation will be held at Bobcean Funeral Home, Carleton Chapel on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Wednesday, May 11, 2022 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held at Bobcean Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 12:00 pm. Downriver Veterans Honor Guard will officiate the service. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
