Jimmy D. Elswick Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Jimmy D. Elswick, age 65, of Holland, Ohio passed away on Friday, June 10, 2022 at Veteran's Administration Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Born on December 12, 1956 in Pikeville, Kentucky, he was the son of Richard and Mary (Johnson) Elswick. On November 7, 1991 he married Shirley Pierce in Sausalito, CA. He was employed as a Truck Driver for 20 years until retiring. Jimmy was a member of the NRA. He loved spending time with grandchildren and enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on cars. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Patty Eblin, brothers-in-law Johnny Eblin and Alex Gonzaleza; a baby boy and 8 unborn grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Shirley Elswick; children Heather (Brandyn) Brown, Richard (Jessica) Elswick Jr., Ashley (Joshua) Wodarski and Jimmy Elswick Jr., grandchildren Emma Elswick, Bryson Wodarski, Corbin Wodarski, Nicolaus Elswick, Garrett Wodarski, Jameson Elswick and Ella Wodarski; siblings Lorraine (Bill) Lietaert, Michael (Joy) Elswick, Sheila Walker, Joan Elswick and Robert (Frances) Elswick. Visitation will be held at Bobcean Funeral Home, Flat Rock Chapel on Thursday, June 16, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held at Bobcean Funeral Home on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 4:00 pm. Pastor Bobby Smith will officiate the service. Burial will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the family.
