Janet M. Bloomer, age 82, of Carleton, passed away on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Elderly Solutions in Frenchtown Twp., Michigan. Born on October 16, 1938 in Flat Rock, Michigan, she was the daughter of Henry and Edna (Duvall) Begeman. Janet was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Waltz, MI and the Swan Creek Garden Club. She grew up in Flat Rock and graduated from Trenton High School in 1956 and was Salutatorian. Janet loved gardening and shopping for antiques. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Corrine Collins and Nancy Bloomer. She is survived by her husband, George Bloomer; sons, Jeff (Holly Branstner) Bloomer and Keith Bloomer. Visitation will be held at Bobcean Funeral Home, Flat Rock Chapel on Monday, June 7, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held at Bobcean Funeral Home on Monday, June 7, 2021 at 6:00 pm. Rev. Jeffrey E. Wade will officiate the service. A private burial will be in Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery, Huron Township, Michigan.
