Geraldine "Pat" H. Gretzler

July 16, 1931 - March 3, 2022

Geraldine "Pat" H. Gretzler, age 90, of South Rockwood, passed away March 3, 2022, at her home after a short illness. Born on July 16, 1931 in Highland Park, Michigan, Geraldine was the daughter of Grace Nemecheck and Vilous Ford. She graduated from Royal Oak High School in 1949. She married William J. Gretzler on April 22, 1954 in Booth's Department Store, Carleton, MI. Sadly, he preceded her in death on April 19, 2007. Farmers all their life led her to Monroe Farmer's Market where she sold produce for 65 years. Pat loved going to the Market so much that the last few years she sold flowers for Moose & Squirrel Horticulture. She was a member of Carleton United Methodist Church, Carleton Extension Club, and Monroe Farmer's Market. Pat loved spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by 2 sons, William (Vicky) Gretzler and James (Sheral) Gretzler; 3 grandchildren Sandy (Tim) James, Kelli (David) Carner and William (Heather) Gretzler; 7 great grandchildren Samantha and Molly James, Jackson, Lexie and Sawyer Carner and Liam and Logan Gretzler. Pat was preceded in death by her parents and husband. The family would like to thank Dr. Mark Snider and Promedica Hospice Monroe for their care and support. Visitation will be held at Bobcean Funeral Home, Carleton Chapel on Monday, March 7, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held at Bobcean Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at 10:00 am. Rev. Cloud Poy will officiate the service. Burial will be in Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery, Huron Township, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Promedica Hospice Monroe.
