Carl Ray

April 14, 1950 - May 4, 2022

Carl Ray, age 72, of Brownstown passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 in the comfort of his home. Born on April 14, 1950 in Pikeville, Kentucky, he was the son of Cecil and Justine Ray. He was employed with McLouth Steel as a Grinder for 27 years until retiring. Carl enjoyed his retirement for a long time. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and helped build some custom homes. Carl was preceded in death by his parents, sons Michael Ray and Jeff Ray. He is survived by his son Sean Ray; grandchildren Lacey, Joseph and Savanna; brother Lowell (Caren Meadows) Ray; sisters Sharlene (Roy) Fields and Patty Hamilton. Visitation will be held at Bobcean Funeral Home, Flat Rock Chapel on Saturday, May 7, 2022 from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held at Bobcean Funeral Home on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 12:00 pm. Pastor Danny Hamilton will officiate the service. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, South Rockwood, Michigan.
